Albin is a somewhat scrawny, pale-skinned human, obviously very geeky. His dark brown hair is disheveled and windswept, as if he has never combed it. He wears oval-shaped glasses over his olive eyes, practically blind without them. He always wears a T-shirt and cargo pants, often carrying around some type of gadgets within them. He also wears comfortable sneakers.

Generally easygoing, Albin likes just going with the flow of whatever is going on around him. He loves meeting new people, and is always willing to help out with something. Yet, as much as he like meeting people, he is also shy. He will often stay out of the way until gaining enough courage to try and approach someone. Once he opens up to you, however, he's a very talkative and fun-loving person. He treats everyone he meets as a friend, until they give him a reason not to. He has a quick wit, and isn't afraid to say an observation about what is going on for sake of humor. He has an odd hatred for cars and other vehicles. He also says "Ah" and "Indeed" a lot. Above all, Albin loves romance, and just being with those he cares about.

He possesses no magical means on his own. He has never been able to perform any type of magic, instead investing his time in technology. Those that are magically inclined will quickly find that he is unable to contain his own mana, making it extremely easy for them to tap into his mana for their own spells, acting as a magic battery of sorts.

He avoids violence, instead choosing to run away instead of confronting. He will only fight to defend someone he loves or cares for. His weapon of choice are guns, namely pistols, as rifles are too unwieldy for him to use. In melee confrontations, he uses a special rod that can cause a localized paralysis if it hits his opponent enough. (See inventions)

Albin is an inventor, and likes to make things for others. But when he is unable to come up with new inventions, he often picks up odd jobs that require his intelligence and know-how, usually involving repair. He gets around!

Prisma Gems- Albin's first, and definitely most popular, invention is the Prisma Gem. These gems appear like normal gems, red in color. However, when exposed to pressure, the gem's color changes, from red to orange to yellow, all the way up the spectrum to purple. When set in a specially-made piece of jewelry, the gem can be twisted to adjust the color, and keep it there.

Dye Beam- A handy ray gun that can change the color of fur, scales, feathers, skin, and hair. The color is completely adjustable, and all hues can be obtained, standard or whacky. The ray can pierce through clothing to give an all-over coat, and work much like a paint bucket tool, where it will fill in that area of fur with the color. The dye washes off with soap, and does not come off in water. It has been discovered by one of his customers that the ray has a secondary effect of altering the taste of bodily fluids, depending on the color.

Blue Gills - A sky blue collar Albin had gotten an idea for when he met an orca female and fox couple. When the collar is worn, the wearer is given the ability to breathe underwater. The collar is sky blue, with a small black box attached to it. If the wearer is underwater, they are unable to speak, as all that will come out is bubbles.

Hoverboard- A surfboard. That hovers. It can be ridden to go places. What you see is what you get.

AEGIS unit- Albin's headlining, most-used, and favorite invention. The Automated Electric Guided Implanted Shield unit is a result of two years of Albin's hard work. It is a implanted shield that is capable of protecting the wearer from fire, electricity, bullets, and crushing. The unit is composed of many nanobots in a constant orbit around him. If a threat is perceived by them, they all collect around his body, forming a shell to protect him. The original point of this was for the wearer to be able to survive after a building collapse, but it turned into so much more. The shield repels fire, and completely absorbs electricity. It is able to recharge from sunlight, but Albin likes to sometimes charge it by licking his fingers and sticking them into an outlet. If the shield is exposed to crushing, the work it must output creates heat around him. If put under too much stress, the shield will start to draw from electricity used to move muscles, making Albin slow and sluggish. Through continuous work, he has managed to upgrade it with the ability to allow him to breathe in low oxygen and aquatic environments, as well as the ability to teleport to a known location. The shield is not a perfect item, however. Sharp objects such as blades and claws can easily cut through it, and magic easily passes through. Wind-type attacks can temporarily disable the shield by blowing away the nanites orbiting him.

Species Restorer - Built more out of necessity than for selling, the Species Restorer transforms whatever is inside its glass capsule back into their original species. Albin often uses it, as he seems to wind up getting transformed a lot. The Species Restorer also takes backups of the form the person was in when they had first walked into it, in case they would like to resume that form again at a later time.

Invisibility Earring - A normal-looking white earring. However, when the white gem on it it pressed, the wearer turns invisible. While invisible, the wearer must move slowly, or else a ghostly outline of them will be visible.

Numbing Rod - An extendable, metal blue rod Albin always carries with him. It has two uses. If the rod is rubbed on an injury, the area will go numb, taking away the pain. As well, it can also be used as a weapon. Enough hits on the same area of the body will make it temporarily paralyzed.

Lightning Pistol - A gun that seems to be made out of blue metal, this gun is able to discharge an intense lightning bolt. It's mostly accurate, and does not kick back. It runs off of a power cell, and two shots can be fired before it needs to be reloaded.

Reformation Device - A machine that allows one who has registered with the machine to reform in case they are consumed and digested. Very handy in a world like this.
