Standing at a modest 5'11", Airedhiel hails from the prosperous forests of the north. Ancient woods that have stood the test of time are reliable homelands for the high elf blood. Ruled by the Amber Throne, an uterine primogeniture governed monarchy, rule is passed on female only basis. Basically, it is a society that focuses on matrilineal ties. The reason for a female dominated rule dates back to the founding of the nation and is stored in the national history, a series of underground tablets carved onto condensed mana. The kingdom itself extends only as far as the reaches of the woodlot, but even then the Isvahlian Forest stretches vast across the north. With such a wide swath of land, insular society is not plausible, and so the nation is one of few Elven open border societies. Leveraging this to their benefit, they have a strong influence on the trade of magical items, with the Isvahlian Academy a hub of magecraft and alchemy.
Born to the central court, Airedhiel is a courtier of the kingdom. Her mother before her was a captain in the standing army. In particular, of the scouting division. Trained with discipline from an early age, she excels in archery and scrying magic. It is only natural that now she is a somewhat high ranking official in the army under her mother. Due to the longevity of elves, cycling of positions can take a long time. Not that she minds, her primary mission is to scout out other civilizations and provide valuable intelligence on their hostility. The kingdom has no intentions of invading, but information in and of itself is a weapon. In layman's terms, she is currently serving as a spy on behalf of her people whilst pretending to wander the lands.
