Ainzair, or just Ains for short, is a young man who has lived his life being told he was going to do great things, when in reality this man's head was living in a fairy tale. Originally not from the Nexus, he's from a world where peoples social standing was determined by the strength of their magic, this world is called Anima. A bit of a bookworm and adventurous, Ains is someone who wants to wants to have fun with everyone around, even if that means he gets into some situations hes... unaccustomed to...

Personality
Regarding his personality, Ainzair is a well mannered man, he always tends to address people formally unless told otherwise. Never wanting to step on anyone's toes he always tries to be careful with his words, which can make him seem a little stuck up or pompous even if it's not his intention. After he truly gets to know somebody however, he lightens up quite a bit, becoming... well, depending on the person he can act like a bit of a fan boy to those he likes, he may still retain an air of formality at times, while at other times he's a huge dork. Really depends on who he's with. The one thing he cannot stand however is to see people suffer, he'll often go out of his way to help those who are suffering.

History
As previously stated, Ainzair is from a world where peoples social standing is determined by the strength of their magic, and among these people Ains was one of those who; Just from the sheer level of magic power he had, was referred to as "The Archon", a title bestowed upon only a handful of people in all of Anima, the proof of this title lies in the tattoo on his neck. The Archons are the select few who will become the possible future rulers of Anima itself. While he certainly has the talent or it, it's not something he really wants to do.

The main reason for this being Ains dreamed about living in a world of fantasy... He's always had his nose in the books, reading all different kinds of fairy tales where brave warriors would fight battles and save the world against all odds. He wanted to be just like those heroes! He kept reading these books on the side while he studied and further developed his magic. He's been learning ever since the young age of 7, lo and behold, 15 years later he obtains the title of Archon...

Ainzair didn't want to accept this hand in life, and so, he devised a plan... You see throughout the years Ains developed a great many spells, and one of these was a teleportation spell that let him travel across Anima in the blink of an eye through the use of runes. Using this spell, and one of his fantasy books as a catalyst he sought to make it to the world that the book was written about rather be shackled to the fate of being a possible future ruler of Anima... He uh... however forgot to read the latter half of the book where the hero got swallowed whole by a snake woman and his legacy fell to ruin... After casting his spell he became shrouded in a bright blue light, when it cleared Ains found himself in the Nexus. The book seemed to have changed, becoming a tome of crystal. The spell also took far more out of him than expected, thus leaving him stranded in this new world with limited ways to replenish his magic supply... Seems like he didn't think this plan through very well...

Inventory
The items Ainzair has in his possession are:
❖ Crystal Rod: A stave that is 165cm(5'5") long, used as the main conductor for his magic that has a large blue crstyal embedded into it. If need be it can double as a spear.
❖ Crystal Tome: A book without pages, rather it opens up and words appear within the crystal using the text of anima, meaning Ainzair is the only person who can read it. The text that's shown inside gives Ainzair the knowledge he seeks, however it can be quite vague like a riddle of some sort.
❖ Crystal pen: Well... It's a pen. A pen that has a crystal in the tip. It doesn't have any ink in it, instead by using his magic Ains can write on just about anything. Paper, skin, even the air itself.

Events
Following a break up with Mirei_Sonozaki, to not only protect her and the association she works for, Ainzair cast a spell to erase his memories of her and everything relating to her. Now, there's just a huge gap in his memory, but his tome tells him it's what he wanted, so he tries not to dwell on those gaps. He also has a scar above his right eye now.
