There's not much difference in elves, is there? They all seem to be pretty much the same, physically and mentally. They're all these slender, delicate creatures with superiority complexes and a general air of 'too good for you'. SO what happens when there's a different sort of elf mixed in with that lot?
Whatever that different elf wants to happen, as it happens.
Ainariel is not your typical elf. She's not one who breaks the mold... no, she's one from an entirely different mold, as it happens.
Far from a typical elf, in both appearance and mentality, Ainariel is, well, still basically an elf. Gorgeous, with pointy ears and greater than human levels of grace and poise, with a superb sense of balance, as well as excellent hearing, she's clearly an elf. She just looks a lot more like a half-elf, or a human.
Frankly, Ainariel made the other elves nervous. Not only was she all... soft, and curvy, but she lacked their snootiness! She didn't look down her nose at a single one of them, nor was she jealous of any of them for their superior elfiness. She was quite calm, and placid, and even friendly and cheerful, even when one of the others was trying to bring her down. It unsettled them immensely. And, well, being the helpful individual she was, Aina noticed this, and decided she'd just leave. Having often been teased about how human she looked, she figured, what the hell, and went to live amongst humans.
Now, this isn't exactly uncommon among elves. Most, however, go for one of two reasons: To feel better about themselves, or to indulge their perverse desires. Both have it easy, of course. The former have no trouble at all feeling superior to all the humans, and the latter have no trouble finding someone they like and getting laid. Simple, and easy. However... Aina had something else in mind.
She wanted a job, and of course she got it. As a history teacher, for a local school. Freelance, really, but still, she was on call so often simply because she WAS qualified to teach the subject matter. Who better to teach history than someone who lived it, after all?
Physically, Aina is quite the sight to see. While she's not the slender, sexy thing most elves like to be seen as, she's got one thing that's really going for her... curves. She's not slender, but that's probably because she IS so curvy. Her chest and butt are both nicely sized, even for a human, and her whole body has a soft, padded look to it. Five and a half feet tall, with blond hair that's cut fairly short, coming down to an inch or two above her shoulders, amber eyes, pale skin, and a figure that is often seen in wet dreams, Aina, well... she stands out, and looks damned good. Typically, these are complemented by simple, businesslike attire, or exercise clothes, at least where people can see her. In her own home, who knows? She does seem to favor comfortable shoes, though(sneakers, in any setting allowing for them).
All of this is backed up by a generally pleasant personality. Aina is friendly, cheerful, polite, and often motherly, at least in regards to those younger than her. She's better qualified as a caretaker than a teacher, to be completely honest. Still, she's lacking a few things to make herself truly happy... maybe those will come in time.
