Ailsa's pyromancy knowledge has come in handy in allowing her to escape certain predators. While she cannot use a fireball yet she is able to raise her body temperature enough to harm some weaker predators if they try to eat her. This isn't always effective, however. More often than not, Ailsa has to rely on a friend to save her if she is attacked by a hungry predator.
