Aeriel

Before Aerial was born the world was a very different place, normal people who went about their normal lives, until the mist rolled in. It was a strange chemical that surrounded the planet 40% of the population saw no real effects. But the others well a different story to be told. Another 40% of people saw a great change in themselves, transforming physically, growing ears and tails, or full body transformations becoming a perfect mix of animal and human or something different. With that came new instincts...new desires...and even then half of those changed people gained abilities. But what of the additional 20%? They stayed human in appearence but gained super powers of their own. The world was at war Human's, the new Race's, and the super powered fighting for dominance. It took decades until at last a truce was declared, the countries of old forming anew, new government and laws. And with that we have Aerial one of the 20% of humans who gained super powered abilities to which she has chosen to become a hero!

Heroes are a profession, her parents were heroes and she wants to follow in their foosteps. They were some of the best so when they did it took a heavy toll on many. That is why she's one of the few who does not have a secret identity she has nothing to lose anymore after all. Aerial believes in justice but she also is still a young person, she likes to go about her day, make friends and hang out like anyone else. And because of her lack of secret identity people can be fearful to get close but true friends are loyal despite that and she vows to protect them.

Her powers is the ability to manipulate air she can use air currents to fly and float, make the winds very sharp or hold down enemies with large gusts at her command. Of course that would mean her greatest weakness would be enclosed spaces with little to no air flow...
