Aeleria is a fairy without a court. She's kinda a rebel. Aeleria left her home in a magic forest because all the pomp and circumstance was just starting to get annoying.

Sure, a dragonfly playing a trumpet is cool, but like ANY fairy can train one to play! And the 'Queen' With her shimmering gossamer dress! Why did Aeleria even need to listen to them in the first place? It wasn't like they could die... at least not by conventional means.

So Aeleria went off, leaving one day before some stupid festival, never to return~ She ended up fluttering into a quaint human village. They were big! Real big! She was more than content to just watch them for a bit. Machinery and all the big animals they had, it was way cooler than magic! They also grew really tasty food. She liked peaches and plums the best, though their 'baking' was amazing as well! She could usually flitter off with some goodies from the market and eat like a queen for a week!

So many creatures, human, uhhh... part human, monsters and animals lived out there, and most didn't pay her any mind. She was really happy to meet all of em, but she was getting kinda lonely. After a while, Aeleria started using her fairy magic to get a bit bigger. She could finally talk to the humans... she couldn't steal anymore though, but hey, friends are better than food!

Aeleria made friends, playing in the forest with human children, animals, and generally whoever wasn't scared! Being a fairy, she was pretty mischevious. She liked to mess with travelers, to make em squirm a bit!

This was a good thing. Quite a few people feared her kind. Somethin' bout curses and pestilence. Whatever. Didn't matter to Aeleria. She would drop from the treetops and surprise them! Or perhaps ensnare them in vines, or put em to sleep with sweet flowers... So many ways to play~

She still goes to fairyland often. She found a village over there full of fairies with no court. They were free! Like most fairies, she occasionally abducts mortals. Time works differently in fairyland, so their captives don't age, and usually don't miss out on much. The worst part is the trip there. Aeleria loves to scare mortals while she takes them away! The kidnapped might party with some cute fae, or maybe be teased and tormented if they are meanies! Those who do a service for the fairies are rewarded well!

She's harmless, though, and maybe after a bit of teasing, snuggling, tickling, or an offering of food, she'd let them be on their way! Sometimes she'd just scare em, and others she'd even do something nice. This... didn't always go well. She can't fly well if she's big, and plenty of creatures get hungry, and even a fleeing fairy is easy pickings. A bit of time wasted, she'll wake up in her treehouse on the mountainside annoyed but no worse for wear.

Though selfish, immature, and kinda scatterbrained, Aeleria has come to love the people of the nearby village, and makes sure to help and protect them out any way she can! And she can. Fairy magic can do wonderful things... So don't make her mad~

Nature magic: Plants, small animals, and insects listen to her. Sometimes the big ones too but they're finicky.

She always smells pretty nice. Like wildflowers and morning dew. Even if she's all sweaty she doesn't smell bad.
Her insides are clean? Its like a warm spring in there... but slimier. And fleshy. Its magic~
