Adrien

Kind of an odd fellow... but then, if you ask most girls his age or anywhere near it, all guys are odd. His weirdness is more a matter of his ancestry than anything else, though.

Y'see... somewhere waaaaaay back in his family tree, SOMEONE got it on with someone/something supernatural, and, well... let's just say you can do the math. Most of his ancestors past that initial pairing, though, exhibit no trace of the supernatural... at least, none that is recorded. There are stories, though, if you ask the right relatives, and some of them look remarkably... young, for their age. His grandmom looks about 50, for all that she's eighty, for example.

Now, you may want to know what exactly this means... well, he couldn't tell you, honestly. He doesn't KNOW, and it's been long enough that anyone who could tell him, aside from his supernatural ancestor, perhaps, is long dead. However, he has managed to figure SOME things out.

For one thing... he can actually see the supernatural. Fae and the like. He can see through many illusions, which has revealed an interesting thing or two about some of the people he meets, as well as one or two of his classmates. This has led to a few long, hard, uncomfortable looks, so he mostly doesn't mention it anymore if he sees anything odd. This has since become a rather accepting nature, with Adrien willing to accept, well, just about anything he sees.

Other oddities about him ARE cropping up now, though, as he gets older. When he turned sixteen, a strange marking appeared on his upper bicep... it was hard to tell what it was at first, but it has since been learned to be an Ourobouros. What this means is... well, it's unknown, but he has been feeling better than usual since it appeared. And, well, there have been a few incidents involving big bites just.... disappearing in a single gulp. He's not done anything with this, yet, but it's a fun party trick. Add to that the fact that he's eaten things he probably shouldn't have, completely by accident, and been fine, and, well, it seems that he's definitely not a normal human anymore.

Not that you could tell by looking at him. He's just a tall, fairly lean fellow, standing a full six feet three inches, with dull, dark green eyes, messy brown hair, and glasses. He seems comfortable in whatever clothes he has on, no matter what the weather is like, and he doesn't seem at all perturbed by the odd looks he sometimes gets. After all, he's strange himself, and he's seen some damned strange things.

So. Now he's in a new high school, having just moved here thanks to his dad's company pulling them up and flinging them across the country. He's new, friendless(so far) and doesn't seem to give half a damn, but that's mostly his learned habit of not paying too much attention to anything. Once you get his attention, though, he's a nice, friendly guy, with a slightly odd accent that no one can place.

SO! There you have it. PM if interested.
