"Dear diary, I suppose I should describe myself seen as I lost my old diary. My names Abygail, I'm seventeen years old and since my sixteenth I've had a problem. But I'll get to that I mean. I'm not going to let it define me. Even if I'm not much to look at, five three, five four. I haven't measured myself recently and you're a book so can't criticize for being inprecise. Anyway, call me five foot four inches high with brown hair, tends to get in my eyes at times but at least it responds well to a comb. My eyes are blue, kind of proud of those. If you're a pervert though dear diary you're going to be disappointed, I'm distressingly slender. I'm 17 and I only get Bs? maybe it's cause of what I am. But not talking about that yet!"

"What do I spend my time doing? Browsing the internet, going to school, watching TV, hanging out...nothing special really. So I suppose It's time to talk about It. It only happens when the sun goes down and only since my sixteenth birthday but initially it was pretty cool. I mean, who wouldn't want to fly? fly, see in the dark and be stronger than I am when the sun is up. Sure there's some weird side effects, my eyes turn purple and in the light I have these moth wings. They can't be touched and the dimmer the light the less visible they are, don't ask me how it works. Near as I can figure i'm a moth girl, but I don't know. I've tried to sorta broach the subject to my folks and just gotten odd looks."

"..but, there's a downside. The eating people kinda downside. It's not every night, but the urges get worse each night and especially when the sun goes down. I don't do any harm though, I just sorta hold them for a while and that makes the urges go away. Then I just cough them up somewhere and fly off, worst I've done is ruin some clothing and left people kinda wet."
