Backstory:
Our story begins in a land far from Nexus. Before Abigail was born, there a land known as Tajiola. It was home to many Demi-Human species. These included but were not limited to Centaurs, Harpies, Kitsunes, Wolfs, and Nekos, the species Abigail belonged to. Each lived in tribes and while some began to become more advanced over the years, other tribes stuck with their traditions and adapted slowly.
Everything changes when explorers from another land began to expand their reach destroying and pushing out many tribes in the process. They considered Demi-Human's as savages and less then human. For many tribes, the one's that weren't killed were sold into slavery. They were given traditional colonial names and separated from their identity. Time pasted and the colonies grew and as more.
Nearing present day. The land which was now colonized was inhabited with mostly humans, the demi human population consisted of those who were born into slavery and although most places including Nexus consider Demi-Human's as well as Anthros as equals, the new Tajiola still held on to it's bigoted ideologies. Another thing that set Tajiola, now know as the Kingdom of Cavaria, apart from other countries is that technology is still somewhat stuck in the Victorian era and most machines and devices run solely on steam power. If not by steam, then by manual labor.
Lauren Hill, a Neko female was sold into the ownership of a wealthy lawyer, Louis Marshall, who was well respected with in the town of New Cresthill. However he treated the Neko well and the two fell in love. They secretly wed and Louis fathered a daughter, Abigail. Abigail was treated like family and was not shown the hardships of being a Demi-Human. Being the daughter of a Lawyer, she was more fortunate than most slaves in that she was taught to read and write. Her knowledge was set mostly in law and philosophy.That changed when she turned 16.
A friend of Louis noticed that even thought Abigail was a neko, she had many similarities including hair color, eye color and face shape to Louis. Once the rumors spread an angry mob attacked Louis' house. Abigail's mother and father were murdered and although she escaped the mob, she was captured and placed into a slave camp to be sold onto a slave market. Fearing that she would be killed if the slave drivers found out about her life, she kept her parents a secret.
While in the camp, she often had to fend of attackers and show her strength. This made her a skilled fighter in some respects. She found and became more in touch with her culture as well finding out about her tribe. This allowed her to pick up skills like stealth. She tested this by stealing food from the guards and even escaped from the camp she was held in twice. However both times she was caught and was punished.
She made a third attempt which was successful and began to her journey to seek revenge. She trained with many people on her fighting and other skills. However, while staying at an inn, the Inn Keeper drugged her and sold her back into slavery. She soon found herself on a boat with no idea where she was heading.
One fateful day, the ship was raided by Captain_Mary_Read and she was freed once more. Now repay the woman that freed her, she is now a part of her crew as a body guard for the captain. Over the course of a week, she had fallen in love with the captain and the two would have been married.
As a pirate, Abigail met a rival crew, one of the crew members was a young girl by the name of Sora_Ryoshi. She had Abigail felt an instant connection with the young girl, but she was loyal to her captain.
One day that changed. It was normal for Abigail to leave the ship and explore the lands the ported at while her Captain would stay on the ship or go about her own business. One day Abigail went in search of herbs. When she came back to the location of the ship, she found that the ship and her Captain was gone. She wasn't sure where she went to, nor what happened to her.
She bought a small sail boat from the town and began her search, though nothing turned up. Saddened, she gave up her search for her lost Captain. However with more and more thought, doubts about her love for her captain began to surface.
On a cold summer day, She came upon another island, where she found Sora sitting on the beach, throwing rocks into the sea. The two began to talk and the connection that she felt so long ago not only still existed, it had began to blossom. At the end of the day, the two shared a passionate kiss under rainy skies.
Now Abigail happily spends her days with her new love.

Personality:
As a child, Abigail was carefree and happy. However, once she was orphaned and she was enslave, she has become colder towards people, however she is still caring to other demi-humans. As for humans, she needs to get to know them in order to open up to them. However, after meeting her one true love, she has started to reevaluate her life from revenge to fighting for the greater good.
She is loyal, dependable, caring, and adaptable to any situation. She does get attached to those closest to her and often gets protective of them.
