Abigail was born in London, living a fine life as a kid. However, shortly after she went to school, with all her friends, and gotten used to the way things were going, her father, an indie movie director, following the call of opportunity, moved entire family to states. Girl did not take that well. Separated from her friends and thrown not just into different environment, she soon felt her self unable to connect, even scared of new people. It didn't take long for girl to become secluded into herself, focusing on things like video games and online forums and image boards. Now anti-social and rather shy in person, she only managed to find her new passion after seeing a new, just growing craze of let's playing. Entirely too young and shy of her own voice, she started with text only stuff, then simple uncommentated videos, soon establishing a small channel with niche following, called "Stewart's Gaming". At first everything pointed towards it being just another obscure little channel, until one day, she made a vlog. It caused an uproar she never expected, as to everybody's surprise, the person behind the videos turned out to be a cute girl. Indeed, it was never her intention to pretend to be male, but nothing about her channel name or any of her written commentary pointed towards her being a girl. The news was shocking enough, it somehow snowballed and she got her 5 minutes of fame, enough to elevate her to minor but notable following of 100+ subscribers on Youtube and a handful of dedicated fans following her twitch streams.
With this, the girl was completely ingrained into online culture, games and only ended up being more disconnected from normal life outside. Even her job is online and computer related. Her small following was enough to give her a bit of an attitude online, thinking she was now internet famous, even if her following wasn't even enough to quit her day job.

This is much more naive Abby, just getting into internet and video games. She sheepishly browses image boards, looking up to weirdos she really shouldn't even associate with and spends her time torrenting video games, since her allowance doesn't really allow her to buy a lot of them. She's far from even dreaming of 100k people watching her play video games. She's too busy dealing with sense of loneliness and lack of belonging.
