Every great adventure has a group of swashbuckling young lads and lasses who are setting out for glory and fame. Their disparate personalities and traits complementing one another even as they might have internal conflicts amongst themselves, they nevertheless work together to overcome the odds and save a kingdom, vanquish a tyrant, slay a dragon, and have their names writ in the legends of the history yet to come!

This is not a great adventure.

Rosemary Hanscourt III is a princess from the Hanscourt family that presides in large over a kingdom that is actually quite small. Escaped from her window after a tithe and blessing was given to the latest bodyguard who was supposed to prevent the unruly royalty from giving her birthhome the slip, the wanderlusting noblewoman has once again set to the road of glory that is made, not glory that is inherited.

blonde, spoiled, adventurous, noble human warrior. well, she's had fencing lessons anyhow.

Ilydrial is a cartographer who's maps are nearly illegible to those who have not learned of her idosyncracities. To date, her sister is the only person who claims to be able to correctly follow them, and yet the pair do not ever seem to have difficulty using the maps to find their way through the world. So perhaps there's a kernel of truth to that. Still, eventually a thorough mapper will find herself needing to travel to continue her trade, and the glades and forests of her birth proved quite small compared to the world as described by a boisterous blonde met quite by accident in a small human tavern.

Finny Fallows is a ne'erdowell with a hand fit for a pocket and a finger fit for your ring, provided it's been squeezed a bit first. Not too many people went lookin' too hard at those who they had to crane to see, and while she woulda kicked you right in the shins for suggesting such was necessary around her, the pint sized pilferer nevertheless managed to trip herself up in her own game when she had to go back to the previous owner of a five-finger discounted map just to make heads or tails of the path to treasure it supposedly held.

Lanath wasn't blind, though most would have been fooled to see her in town with her eyes cinched up behind a strip of cloth. But false sympathy and help leaning on a walking stick that wasn't actually needed was what got her into her predicament in the first place when a too-trusting fool thought the unseeing samaritan adrift. Unfortunately for Lanath, the long haul hadn't been pulled off quite yet, but eventually treasure beyond imagining would be hers at the cost of her travelling "friends".

white-haired, scheming, arrogant, untrustworthy drow sorceress. well, she lights people she doesn't like on fire anyhow.

Tama learned a very important lesson about being careful where you land, lest you end up stuck in someone's bag for nearly a day and a half before they open it back up and get a face full of feynger. Still, there had been an awful lot of high quality fruits packed in that bag.

green-haired, spunky, brave, careless fairy cleric. well, she can TECHNICALLY heal bruises if you don't mind her getting sleepy afterwards anyhow.

Under the ostensible leadership of Rosemary's desire for fame and glory that have nothing to do with her upbringing, the five ladies travel over hill and over dale, into cave and under sea, seeking treasures, derring-do, and always trying to stay one step ahead of the royal guards of Hanscourt who are trying to retrieve their royal princess before she makes some wicked overlord really mad.


OOC: This is loosely based off of Dungeons and Dragons, loosely because I'm not amazingly familiar with everything there is to do with it! But it's basically a generic high fantasy setting with anything that might go in such going quite well. Obviously, while many parties are competent, heroic, and on a path to success, this particular one is barely able, self-serving, and on a path to making a bunch of monsters happy at least. I'd love to play any or all of them against just about anything you could throw at me! They're adventurers, so they can get into all sorts of places and troubles with few problems (though getting out again might be harder)! Minor notes include that I don't much go for all that "reforming" and "instant resurrection" sorts of jazz, and I pretty much eat (and thus get et) with my mouth! But obviously, the ladies are unlikely to succeed in their individual goals given that none of those goals are actually "end up in something's stomach, far from home".
