With a dominate class quickly popping up in both the species and society it didn't take long for those in charge to take advantage of those underneath them, reopening slave trade as well as forced labour. Plantations and farms quickly opened up with those who were vulnerable quickly put to work against their own will to keep society moving forward. Catherine Beauregard was the owner of one of if not the largest prey plantations in the south, forcing many to work under her thumb under the threat of being devoured anytime she so pleased. Ruling with an absolute iron fist she excepts no excuses and shows no mercy to any of her "staff" should they even make the simplest of mistakes, procurring new slaves has never been an issue for Catherine as her wealth, power and status make her sure her fields are always full. As the face of prey-slave trade in the south Ms. Beauregard can frequently be seen at balls and social functions, sometimes making deals to either purchase or sell new property or dazzling lawmakers in an attempt to have more laws in place restricting the rights of prey. A naturally charismatic woman it doesn't take much for her to get her ways and whatever she wants and when her honeyed words don't work this buxom southern belle has zero reserves about using force to get what her way, usually leaving her with a swollen belly and satisfied grin as a result.
