Team Strigiform

Members of Team Strigiform, often refereed to as 'Striggies' for short, wear uniforms that range in color from crimson to a deep burgundy red. Striggies are often famed with being the 'brains' of the school. Their legacies are often sons and daughters of former alumni who have gone on to become scientists, parishioners of the arts, and other such great minds. It is not so surprising then, for this team to be named Strigiform, which is the animal order of 'owl', who are often depicted as being creatures of great wisdom.

This team is in honor of the founding member of school by the name of Arther B. Stigimore, who was a renowned Zoologist who had a passion for bird watching. Stigimore was a passionate man, and was very much the brainchild behind the original conception of Darwin Preparation School (before it was converted into a predatory school). It was he who came up with the name of the school, and wrote the original curriculum, charter, and structure, many of which still hold up even through the schools transformation. He was also instrumental in the naming of all the teams, not only the Strigiforms that honor him.
