Sunny_the_Yoshi

Sunflower (Sunny) Syddupp is a Yoshi who lives on Yoshi Island.

Sunny only speaks Yoshese, and as such often has a language barrier issue with other characters. She will attempt to eat anything (or anyone) that looks tasty, if they can't speak her language. She can't understand the concept of other languages.

Sunny is kind, but also ditzy and somewhat shallow and naive. She is highly susceptible to flattery.

Like all Yoshis, she has a voracious appetite and enjoys ensnaring creatures with her long, sticky tongue and swallowing them. Sunny turns her prey into eggs, which later hatch into the prey, reformed and alive, though they are in baby form. She feeds on the mass lost by the prey. They grow back into their original size within a few days.

Sunny distinguishes herself from other Yoshis by her unique hairstyle and bandana, and she wears flip flops instead of shoes like most Yoshis. Her eggs are spotted with the primary color of her prey.
