Stefano

If you haven't been able to tell, Stefano is an Italian name. In English he would be called Steven, a name which he hates being called. Stefano is of Italian background, having been born in Italy. His parents crossed the ocean when he was a very young age to start their new lives in the land of opportunity.

Being only 5 when he moved to the east coast of the United States, Stefano quickly learned English. And despite it being his second language, he knows it better than Italian. Having only his parents to speak Italian to, who discouraged him from speaking it due to their new start, Stefano spoke mainly English. He quickly forgot his first language. He is not fluent in it, but to some extent can speak, read and write it. But he rarely does so, feeling embarrassed when he speaks it. If he speaks to you in Italian, whatever phrase he's able to conjure up together, it means he trusts you.

From an early age, Stefano had always liked football, or soccer as it is known in the States. It was one of the influences that managed to carry over from his homeland. As a kid he loved watching it on television wished one day to be a part of a team, in front of millions of fans world wide. From a young age well into his adolescence Stefano would play the game whenever he could. From kicking a ball at the age of 2, to training with others his age and joining teams, Stefano quickly acquired the skills he needed to excel at the game. He won a scholarship to both highschool and college by playing for their soccer teams.
