The fairy host were gathered, sitting on boughs of the forest they circled the altar. On the altar were several bowls, of condiments like honey, chocolate sauce and mustard, but the largest bowl contained...
Fairies.
Within the bowl over a dozen fairies were trapped. Two were bound, hand foot and wing, one was gray and wrinkled with age, the rest were missing wings or limbs. All were terrified. Then the cry went up. “Ise Toirch'iad Siudd'ithsi”. The name or title was repeated among the throng, the devourer was coming.
Then the object of terror came into view. A slender elf maid in the ceremonial garb of the Druids. She raised her arms and faced each direction she called as she spoke.
“Air Spirits of the North, I call thee (a light wind blew), Water Spirits of the East, I call thee (the surf became audible though miles away), Fire Spirits of the South, I call thee (candles and torches briefly flared), Earth Spirits of the West, I call thee (the ground trembled beneath them). Spirits of the gathered throng, lend me your power through prayer, that your loved ones may be reborn” A sense of power like static in a storm filled the holy grove. “Centuries ago the Gods made war. The Goddess of Magic was slain. As a result, magic became more difficult. Especially resurrection magic. But the Druids of Old discovered a loophole in the laws of life and death. If someone is eaten and dying, in a woman's stomach, they are close to the seat of life in her womb. The proper magic can switch them from the stomach to the womb, from which they will emerge whole and cured of mutilation and age, as they were when they first stepped from their mother's womb. But the price of magic demands that one of the candidates die, slowly digested in agony, as a sacrifice to fuel the healing magic. And thus the order of Ise Toirch'iad Siudd'ithsi, “She who bears those she Devours”, was born. I am The Devourer, who will slay one, so that others may be reborn from my womb.”
One by one, she picked up the fairies from the bowl. The old ones. The maimed ones. The whole ones, criminals bound for execution in the hope that they would be the ones digested, instead of a more worthy soul. Some were dipped in sauce, or licked, to swallow them easily. Some were just choked down. But all were swallowed. None escaped The Devourer.
Her job done, Siuddithsi walked to the next town, her belly swollen as if 9 months pregnant. She would be ready to birth those she'd eaten by the next full moon. One by one, they began to pop from her stomach to her womb. The last one screamed as she was sucked into the guts of the devourer. Then she popped into the womb as well. Siuddithsi smiled. She had never lost one of her charges. The great secret of the devourer (it had been so long that she had forgotten any other name) was that the magic was not fueled by sacrifice, but by fear, though other sources would work in a pinch. She was going to a human town next. She always liked to go to that town. They were big on using Tantric Magic to fuel the rebirth.

This Devourer thinks of herself as the Florence Nightingale of the vore crowd. If your character is maimed or an amputee, if a pred has hard vored you to the point of death, she will gladly swallow you down, as an act of mercy for your own good and give birth to you later. She has the powers spells and abilities of a 16th level D&D Druid with the exception descibed below. She has a "ring of childbirth" that allows her to rebirth someone in the course of an RP (it usually takes a month) . She has been eaten several times and has gained Giant Strength (19), immunity to cat claw attacks and the ability to devour by unbirth as a result (see powers below).

The order of Ise Toirch'iad Siudd'ithsi is an all-female sect of Druids based on the powers of D&D Druids. The Difference is that they have Voring and Reformation instead of Animal Form, as a special power. Even when the Gods and Magic returned, they kept these powers, because they enjoy them. At 1st level they gain the ability to vore and reform creatures 2 size classes smaller than themselves (humans or elves eating fairies). They are limited to live prey, even if it's severely injured. At 3rd level, they gain the standard druid abilities to identify plants, animals, and drinkable water. They cannot pass without trace. At 5th level they can vore/reform creatures 1 size class smaller than themselves (humans can eat hobbits). At 7th level they can V/R creatures their own size. At 9th level they can insert their patients into their vaginas to unbirth and rebirth them, rather than having to swallow them. At 11th level they gain the ability to reform if eaten, in the female that eats them or the nearest female relative of a male that eats them. At 13th level they gain immunity to the attack form that killed them when a creature eats them and they reform. At 15th level they gain the ability to use the attack form that killed them, from the creature that eats them, so they can defend themselves when they reform (they must choose whether they take the defense or the attack, not both). At 17th level they gain the ability that they can vore and reform the freshly dead (less than a week). If they V/R the living, it does not count against that person's number of times they can be resurrected before permanent death. They cannot use healing or reincarnation magic. At 19th level they stop aging. Because of the unique nature of the order, Female Elves (of any subrace) have unlimited level advancement. Rumor has it that a rogue group of fairies have learned to shrink humans to eat them. As the shrink spell wears off, the human is digested down to the size of a fairy, then reconstituted as a fairy. The extra energy (calories) from the digested human is then used to fuel the magic of the V/R.
