Ringo and Rangle grew up on the same streets that Lochran wandered in his youth, and it was the feline himself that took the two in, having witnessed their daring, dexterous performances himself when the circus made a stop back in his home town. Orphans, the two grew up on the streets, often playfully running along the tops of tall buildings, leaping from one to the next, swinging on any posts they could find, and just generally enjoying themselves. It had never even occurred to the pair that their games required amazing levels of both talent and bravery, and not once thought they could make money at it until Lochran took them under his wing.
The pair, still quite young, remain as innocent and playful as they always were, but now they perform their death defying feats under the big top, to the cheers of fans instead of the irritated ranting of the townsfolk.
