The Legend of Razgriz
"The Demon of Razgriz, the Demon from the North Sea. When history witnesses a great change, Razgriz reveals itself, first as a dark demon. As a demon, it uses its power to rain death upon the land, and then it dies. However, after a period of slumber, Razgriz returns. As the demon sleeps, man turns on man. Its own blood and madness soon cover the earth. From the depths of despair awaken the Razgriz. Its raven wings ablaze in majestic light. Admidst the eternal waves of time, from a ripple of change shall the storm rise. Out of the abyss peer the eyes of a demon. Behold the Razgriz, its wings of black sheath. The demon soars through the dark skies. Fear and Death trail its shadow beneath until Men united wield a hallowed sabre. In the Final Reckoning, the beast is slain. The demon from the world of fairytails, the Demon from the North Sea. By our calling shall it return to rain death and be slain again."
Are demons really evil, or are their ways misunderstood? While Demons have been responsible to death and chaos, their ways have also forced knowledge and wisdom that otherwise may never have found its way into the stubborn minds of men.
Razgriz may seem like an intimidating being, but in true, he's quite harmless to most mortals. In his 'angel' form, he may be quiet and his personality may be dark, but he is in no way a threat to anyone he speaks to unless they aim to directly harm him.
While Razgriz is arguably the most powerful being currently in the realm, his powers are used only by the will of God. Razgriz is both the angel of death and of life. His mission is to punish true sinners and bring heroes to their destiny. While he will not put someone to death due to one or two foolish sins, a repeated sinner, someone who's entire life is dishonor, deception, and betrayal, only then will he send their souls to the Shadow Realm. The Shadow Realm is his domain, and he is the ruler. The idea of Satan and Lucifer is just speculation developed by other religions. There is the Realm of Light, which is the true heaven, and then the domain of the Razgriz; the Shadow Realm. There is no fire, no physical torture, only blackness, isolation, and silence. It will not be physical pain that will make this place hell, it will be the madness of the shadow world. This is a fate only for those who truly deserve it, those responsible to genocide, suicide, homicide, dictatorship, corruption, betrayal, and so on. Every-day sinners will not spend eternity in this place.
He may avoid direct contact with humans and mortal beings, but those with demonic origins that he can see will be of interest to him.
