I was born and raised as a young lad in Yorkshire under the watchful and loving eyes of two parents, both of whom were but humble shepards. My father hailed from the highlands of Scotland, and my mother from South Hampton. They married young, and I was born a few years later in a tiny home atop a grassy hill surrounded by the rolling British countryside as far as the eye could see. The manor I live at now is reminiscent of the delightful scenery that once surrounded my childhood home. It is a fond reminder every day of my rambunctious times in youth.

Some of you may recognize me. I wouldn't be surprised. You see, I am a world-famous actor who has played roles in numerous dinosaur films including (in no particular order) James Camoran's Jurassic Park series, The Land Before Time, Disney's Dinosaur, Night at the Museum, Meet the Robinsons, the IMAX film T-Rex: Back to the Cretaceous, and many more, including numerous commercials and several video games!

True I have not always played a live-action role, as CGI has pushed me into retirement in the more recent years, but I still earn a modest few pounds a month from Hollywood gentlemen and video game developers who, through modern technology, are able to study my appearance and stride so as to recreate accurate 3D models which are then used in most modern cinema! It's all quite fascinating, truly. I find myself slowly returning to professional acting these days in front of microphones and sometimes with tracker nodes attached to my body. Then, like in the realm of wondrous theatre, I act out my scene, except the setting and props are added in by machines in post-production with computers! Truly marvelous. Though I do still enjoy a good indie production, and often volunteer my time just for my sheer adoration of my profession.

Though my appearance and the infamy of my kind often lands me in sinister roles, this is only the Nigel you know on the silver screen. The true Nigel is not nearly such a brute. In fact, I like to think of myself as a sophisticated and worldly gentleman. My hobbies include the tasting of wine, occasional writing both professional and personal, hunting in exotic lands, the sport of cricket (though I'm terrible at it), decorative gardening, world travel, and as I mentioned prior; indie threatre production--be it acting, directing, or writing. My favorite books include playwrights by Shakespeare, my favorite of which is Hamlet, but I own a vast library in my manor including far more than I could ever hope to read in full. This is Softgob Manor, located in Upper Hartmouth on the Isle of Man. I purchased it after investing the fortune of royalties I earned from my earliest films, the largest contributor of which was the rather successful Jurassic Park and its numerous sequels, spin-offs, movies, merchandise, games, etcetera, etcetera. The manor was constructed with double-wide doors at every passage and plenty of surrounding land to stretch my legs in without any bothersome forests to impede my motion when I go out for a Sunday stroll. Tea time in the hedgerows is a most delightful past-time to spend with guests. If you're ever in the neighborhood and you happen to be a fan, don't hesitate to pop in for a cup of tea!

I shall need to expand this volume further in times ahead. Expect more as I meet new faces and have new stories to share.
