Mystery surrounds the dragon Gaafsejer. He is unlike many dragons in the world, as he is openly willing to communicate with not only humans, but with all beings, as equals. He believes all sentient life is worthy of conversation regardless of where they may fall upon the food chain. He has a deep fascination with philosophy and spirituality, and often in speech he will express his ideals to those he feels may find use of his wisdom. Still, he is not so foolish as to reject the advice of others, or to believe that his logic is absolutely infallible. One can easily live to be thousands of years old as he is and still learn something new every day.
Regarding vore, he is not a fan of unwilling, sentient prey. Most of the time, he will only devour someone as a protective measure and hold them in his crop. Although that's just his morality. If the prey is willing, he does secretly enjoy his stomach being stuffed full of wriggling humans, but that doesn't mean he's going to treat them as anything less than human. As for his preferences, he's not very picky between male and female prey, though he begins to get choosy regarding furs depending on how much fur they have. At least with humans he can remove clothing, but furs often get caught in his throat on the way down.
When it comes to sex, know simply that Gaafsejer is absolutely not interested. It is because of his nature, and his desire to control his emotion and control his impulses that otherwise dictate the actions of most of his brethren. Gaafsejer seeks to rise beyond that. Therefore, he does not participate in sex.
His anatomy is much like most dragons. Past his jaws, there are two passages. The main one goes to his crop, located near the thick base of his neck, where he can store food and prepare it for digestion by soaking it in saliva and kneading it for a duration of time. Food leaving the crop will pass through his chest and into his stomach, which is about three feet in diameter and six feet long, and stretchy enough to hold well over 700 gallons. (Actual measurements of this have not been taken, but this is based on some rough math using the dimensions of his gut.) He towers in at a mighty fourteen feet tall, with a wingspan of over twenty eight. The length of his body from head to tailtip is estimated around thirty to forty feet, with roughly half of that if you exclude the length of his tail. Despite his massive size, he weighs in at only 5,000 pounds, which is little under that of a small aircraft half his size fully loaded with fuel. His wings are also capable of a maximum speed of about 500 miles per hour, which can even keep up with some sub-sonic jetliners at just under their cruising speed. His white eyes have incredible resolution and even the ability to telescopically zoom in on a target from high altitude like a hawk. His long tail is slightly flatter than it is wide to allow for extra lift and maneuverability, and the end of his tail is spread with fin-like flaps which serve as both elevators and rudders depending on how he orients them in flight. His agility is unmatched by modern aircraft, though compared to other dragons, he is only average in his aerobatic capabilities.
Gaafsejer like many dragons possesses elemental breaths. In fact, he has three different types at his disposal. The first is a classic; firebreath. The manner in which his anatomy achieves this is by pushing hydrogen and other gasses through his throat, where it meets with a catalyst consisting of chewed rock with traces of platinum in it. His flames can throw themselves out to over 30 feet. The next is icebreath, which is a little more complicated. Instead of hydrogen, his body replaces the hydrogen with carbon, and then his system compresses the gas until it begins to condense into liquid form. Making the fuel for ice breath is a more difficult process, and therefore more time consuming to replenish that fuel. He also cannot use his fire breath while using ice breath and vise-versa, though after depleting his icebreath he can switch to fire within minutes whereas another generating more ice will take hours if he has run out. The final breath is acid breath, which, can't exactly be called a breath considering it comes from his stomach as opposed to his lungs and gas bladders in his chest normally used for fire and ice attacks. The acid breath is simply regurgitated stomach acids that he propels with a burst of gas to create a spray that soaks an enemy in caustic fluids. However, he rarely uses this ability. It is very unpleasant, as it leaves his throat and mouth burning after use and tasting like vomit. However, the effects can be devastating to armored/insulated targets that could otherwise defend against firebreath and icebreath.
With a wealth of knowledge to share, he frequently lands to find conversation with whatever sentient creatures he can find. Though, he is still a dragon and he is still very much a dangerous predator. Although, if he was planning on eating you, it's more likely he'd skip the formalities of hello and simply swoop down and snatch you up in his talons and fly away. That is rather unlikely unless he's in a particularly foul mood.
Like all ancient dragons, Gaafsejer possesses the power of the Thu'um; the Dragon Shout. It acts almost as a sort of magic spell, allowing him to project his energy into the world around him. One that is used exclusively by him is a shout that goes; "Hind Drem Draal." It translates to "Hope, Peace, Pray." It's not a classic 'shout' in the sense that it is not shouted at all, but merely spoken. The shout is meant to calm and comfort troubled souls and ease burdened minds. Because of the philosophical nature of Gaafsejer, and the self-inflicted emotional distress he deals himself, he most often uses the voice during meditation to calm himself rather than calm others.
Should you have the misfortune to catch him in such a poor mood, it is suggested that you stay hidden from view until he moves on. A philosophical mind can be as dangerous as it is beneficial to civilized life if it is left alone to fester for too long like a wound infected by the disease that is evil in the world. A dragon as old as Gaafsejer has seen many horrors in his lifetime, which begs the unpleasant question; what good is morality? Why should anyone even bother to be kind? Does karma even exist or is the universe nothing but chaos? Is there no retribution to those who commit atrocious misdeeds? Gaafsejer has seen some evil go unpunished for centuries and it has corrupted a part of him that was once innocent. Should you see Gaafsejer on one of his tantrums, avoid him. He will do you no harm if you avoid his path of destruction. However if you go get in his way, you do so at your own risk.
Gaafsejer has recently discovered a new power... or perhaps he already knew of it? The phrase "Tiid Vo Dreh" translates to "Time, Un, Do". This power has the capability of going back in time when unleashed to its full potential, depending on the level it is used. "Tiid" will only freeze time for himself and those in his immediate vicinity. "Tiid Vo" has the ability to turn back time to the dawn of that day, as well as take back anyone close by. Using this second ability, he can undo deaths. Finally, the most powerful version, "Tiid Vo Dreh" can reverse time as far back as he has been alive. Using this last power, he is able to bring people with him all the way back to the dawn of Dragons. However, because of the way Time functions, any changes made to history will not affect the present they originated from. Gaafsejer describes this power as his ability to "leave the stream of time, and re-enter at an earlier point." The reason it does not affect the present, however, and therefore does not create a paradox, is because any alterations in the past create an entirely separate timeline with its own separate future, effectively creating an entire alternate universe. Once that universe is created, however, he cannot jump forward in time in it to see what the changes have done, because that new timeline does not exist until it plays out on its own. He can only jump ahead back to the point where he warped back in the first place. There is no use in changing the past. There is only use in learning from it. To an observer, Gaafsejer would not appear to move or leave where he was standing. Anyone he may have brought with him would be in a similar state. They cannot bring items back with them from the past (though they can bring things from the present to the past if they want). This is so far the best description of this Thu'um's ability and the rules governing it. Gaafsejer has difficulty explaining it in full to mortals, because much of it goes against what a mortal mind traditionally perceives as time. Quantum physicists and philosophers alike have much less trouble understanding, though. Not that it's necessarily so complicated it takes a scientist to understand, just that it may not be something most people want to understand.
Out-of-Character
This character has a strong preference toward story over vore. While there can easily be vore, it is more desirable to have some meaning to it, or else the vore is unpleasantly pointless. Even if he does do vore, he will not digest someone unless they've attacked him or angered him in some way. Gaafsejer does not hunt live sentient creatures.
- I am currently in-character and open for approach in RP by multiple participants. However, all approaches must be in public and involved in the same scene.
- I am not looking for RP, and instead I am looking only to contact known friends. You are not restricted from speaking to me, but I will not likely be interested in anything more than conversation.
- I am looking for an RP and have some ideas for a scene in mind.
- I am looking for an RP, but I am more interested in the ideas of others for a scene.
- I am looking for a gratuitous grab-and-gulp RP that I am the predator in. This is rare.
- I am looking for a gratuitous grab-and-gulp RP that I am the prey in. This is even more rare.
- I am either busy or not in a talking mood. You are free to attempt to contact me, but do not be offended if you are not responded to. As stated, I cannot easily speak for whatever reason.
- I am not here at the moment, or I am far too busy to hope to chat. Send a PUB if you wish to contact me, otherwise there is no hope that I will reply.
