Clare is a female Claymore and the Organization's number 47 during her generation. She is the only known Claymore to have taken the flesh and blood of a fellow Claymore rather than that of a Yoma, making her a 3/4 human and 1/4 Yoma, as opposed to 1/2 human and 1/2 yoma like all other warriors. As such, she was considered as weak and was given the last rank of No. 47 in the 150th generation. Despite this, she is extremely powerful and is one of the first partially Awakened Beings. Clare is also the only person known to have volunteered to undergo the process of becoming a Claymore. Due to recent events in Nexus, Kris_the_Shadow traveled to Clare's world and recruited her to aid him against Lilith_the_Unclean. Clare is still adjusting to Nexus and the odd creatures that reside there. Without Yoma to fight, Clare has started practicing how to use her skills against different monsters. Sometimes she is unable to adjust and gets in way over her head or surpasses her Yoki Limit. When this results in her death, Kris resurrects her because he needs her alive for his plan to work. Clare never remembers this and will always forget her death, thinking that she was knocked out and woke up after her opponent has already left. |
Clare is Lawful Pure in her personality. She often comes off as cold and disconnected, but she allows her personal feelings to cloud her judgment and put herself in danger to save others. Clare hates monsters and makes it her mission to clense the world of them. Depending on the level of yoki energy that Clare has released (whether intentionally or not): she might seem more human with brown eyes, less human with silver eyes that can detect monsters much easier, or even a like a monster herself with glowing yellow eyes that give her exceptional sight and ability to detect creatures all around her. Clare typically behaves as human as she appears at the time. |
Clare's HP will start at 100, but can go higher. Negative HP results in her being incapacitated and vulnerable to a finishing move. Clare must roll a saving throw (1d20) in order to get back up when incapacitated. (15-20 puts her at 1 HP and 80% yoki Yoki Limit: Clare uses yoki for her abilities, but the more she uses, the quicker her Yoma side takes over. If she reaches her limit, she might not be able to revert. Clare would rather die than become a monster. Almost every ability that Clare uses can increase her yoki release level. She will have to roll 1d20 to decide if her attack hits or misses. 1-9 is a miss because Clare held back in fear of releasing too much yoki. 10-19 is a hit, but raises her yoki level by 10%. 20 is a critical hit and yields max damage with her attack, but uses a large amount of yoki and raises her yoki level by 20%. 10% release: Eyes change from silver to gold. +1 to rolls and damage. 30% release: Facial distortion. +2 to rolls and damage. 50% release: Whole body distorts. +3 to rolls and damage. 80% release: Theoretical limit, reversion to human form difficult. +5 to rolls and damage. Speed increases and allows for a saving throw to dodge enemy attacks. (1d20, must be 10-20 to successfully dodge). 100% release: Full Awakening. Cannot attack, must roll a saving throw (1d20) to revert. 1-5 reverts to 50%, 6-10 reverts to 80%, 11-19 results in defeat as Clare cannot revert her yoki and will ask her opponent to kill her before she loses her humanity. Her opponent may then use a finishing move on her. If Clare rolls a 20 on her saving throw or if her opponent fails to land their finishing move while she is at 100% Yoki Limit, Clare will fully awaken and get away (resulting in a draw). Yoki Suppression: Clare can use her turn to focus and lower her yoki level. She must roll 1d20, 1-9 is a fail and nothing happens, 10-15 lowers her level by 10%, 16-19 lowers it by 20%, 20 lowers it by 40% Acute Yoki Sensing: From inheriting Teresa's flesh and blood, Clare has the ability to read the flow of Yoki in opponents and predict their movement. If her opponents attack uses magic or energy, Clare can roll a saving throw to dodge (1d20, must be 15-20 to successfully dodge attack). Awakened Limbs: Clare's legs become hock-jointed—a cross between a horse and Pterosaur. Her left arm becomes a giant claw, and her right arm sprouts several blades. Her awakened limbs allows her to move at lightning speed. This is activated when Clare is at 80% yoki release. It increases her roll and damage by +5, but decreases her roll when trying to lower her yoki level by -5. Quicksword: By focusing all released yoki into the sword's arm, and controlling the berserking arm through sheer will, Clare attacks at superhuman speed. (1d20 for hit/miss and yoki level, 3d6 for damage + yoki modifier) Windcutter: Windcutter is similar to the Quicksword in many ways. Like the Quicksword, it attacks at superhuman speed, but is somewhat slower. However, it is superior to the Quicksword in terms of accuracy. Giving this attack an increase in chance to hit target. (1d20 for hit/miss and yoki level, 5-19 is a hit, 20 critical. 3d4 for damage + yoki modifier) Clare must be at 20% yoki or higher to use Windcutter. Claymore Slash: Just a regular sword attack, no yoki required and will not raise yoki level. (1d20 for hit/miss, 1d6 for damage + yoki modifier) Regenerate: Claymores can heal and regenerate very quickly, but doing so uses yoki. (1d20 for hit/miss and yoki level, 2d10 for increase in HP + yoki modifier) Drill Sword: Clare learned from Jean how to focus yoki in her arm to rotate it, storing the yoki energy before releasing one powerful launching attack that deals devastating damage and cannot be blocked (Can be dodged by fast characters). But using this attack takes time to focus enough yoki, thus requires one turn to focus and is released on the next turn. If Clare is damaged while focusing yoki, she must roll a saving throw (1d20, 10-20 results in success for Clare, but she will still take damage from opponents attack) to maintain focus of the attack. (1d20 for hit/miss and yoki level, 3d10 for damage + yoki modifier) Clare must be at 50% yoki or more to use Drill Sword. |
Clare releases yoki energy from the yoma (monster) blood within her. Clare's yoki level goes up when she exerts herself or is stressed. Her yoki can go down when she relaxes or has possitive encounters with people. The higher her yoki level, the more power she has but with less control over herself. This profile is intended for battle RP scenes. However, I am brand new to this and could use someone more experienced to help me learn and improve at it. Also, feel free to provide critique on my profile and let me know if there is anything that needs improved. I love to chat and meet new people. This profile is based on a character from the anime Claymore and will be played similar, but is separate from the series and I have made changes as I see fit. This is an older character of mine that I recently updated and converted to my newer format. I am open to chatting with anyone, but please don't demand a scene under the overly simplified reasoning being "Eat me, please!!!". I don't often have a lot of free time, so I am a little picky about the scenes I will engage in. I don't like to start things if I don't feel invested in them. So when requesting a scene, please be courteous and not pushy. Try to have an interesting idea for the scene that involves more than just sex or a getting eaten, those get boring after doing them repeatedly -_- Also, please avoid asking real life questions or discussing what you think I'm like IRL. I generally come here to escape and forget about work and such, so having it brought up here kinda irritates me. It's perfectly fine to discuss anime, manga, video games, tabletop games, movies, shows, music, books, and such. I love talking about anime and video games and as I mentioned before, I will talk with anyone as long as they respect my preferences.
