Camilla was 'scouted' by Ryvalt during one of his drunken ventures into the red light district, the ferret displaying her skills to attract clients. The raven, of course, couldn't resist the charms of the twisted, in more senses than one, ferret. She could bend and twist in ways the raven had never seen, and he had seen plenty of twisted individuals in his day. The way she moved blew his mind, among other things, and as soon as he had had his fun with her, he offered her a job.
Of course, she had little interest in joining the circus, until after she's taken the raven for all he was worth, finding more coin on his person than she had seen in her entire life, and thus her career as a performer began.
