Arikne_Basail

Arikne is an 8 foot tall arachne born in some deep caverns in the Amazonian woods (Also she actually has 5 eyes. Three of them are closed in the picture). She began life inside the womb of a human woman who her mother captured and forced to bear the eggs. Arikne didn't mind...the woman tasted good coming out. She and her sisters ate their way out of the host. Arikne only knew her mother's den until she was 8, then she migrated to her own den, dodging predators along the way. The arachne found her own den and spent the next few years tailoring it to her own desires. Nowadays she spends her time setting up traps for her prey before telling riveting stories to her captive audience in her web. Arikne is a storyteller at heart, loving to ramble on about any subject matter when pressed, but she is still a predator. Listening to her stories will not necessarily save you from her hunger. Like all arachne, Arikne is mischievous, preferring to scare her prey with pranks to make them jumpy...although anyone who can appreciate them is welcome to live in her book. As a predator, Arikne prefers to swallow prey whole, but she can liquify insides and drink them if she is angered or the prey is too large like a centauress. This was how she fed on adult humans when she was a child.

Time Periods: Arikne can be encountered in three time periods of her life:

Child: At 8 years old, this Arikne will be focused on finding a new home and is more vulnerable to predation. She still has a wicked toxic bite, so be cautious of that lest she turn the tables on a would be predator. She may also have found her new den be it a cavern or an abandoned house and is setting it up to her liking. Human sized prey are too big for her to swallow right now, so this Arikne will drink them dry...except for children (as in being too big, she'll still drink them out of habit).

Adolescence: In her adolescence, Arikne's den is set up to her desires and is accepting prey, but this will be the time period she will be experimenting with her instincts on mating season. She mates with human males and then devours them, injecting her eggs into other prey. She will also have lost her taste for eating children because of how bitter they are unless she is in a place that has sweeteners.

Mature: At this age, Arikne has had several broods of children and is at her wisest. She is a more experienced predator and mater and will actively seduce men she finds. This Arikne will savor her prey more.
